We have an open interview format in our Connecticut and Massachusetts offices. We interview 8am – 11am Monday through Thursday and 8am – 10am on Friday. If candidates are currently working, we can make exceptions. We ask the candidates to call ahead to schedule an appointment.
Candidates are required to bring in two forms of identification for the interview. For example, driver’s license, state issued identification card, social security card, birth certificate, or a passport. Prior to completing our paperwork, candidates must consent to a pre-employment drug screen and a release for a criminal background check.
At this time, applications can only be completed in our office. During the application process, candidates are required to watch a 12 minute safety video and complete a test on the video. In addition to the safety video test, all candidates are given a basic skills test that includes spelling, filing, math, and reading a ruler. Candidates seeking office work are tested on a computer database for data entry, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
After completion of the required paperwork, candidates are then interviewed by a Staffing Manager. During the interview process, candidates will be asked about their past employment, availability, shift preferences, and any special skills, e.g. forklift certified.
